-Collaboration to Help Families Navigate College Admissions from Applications and Affordability Planning to Acceptance Offers and College Choices
NEW YORK, May 19, 2025 — The ¸£ÀûÉ© Review®—one of the nation's leading education services companies, known for its test prep, tutoring, college rankings, and admissions resources—and ®, an award-winning financial aid and scholarship planning services company, today announced a strategic partnership to guide families through the very exciting, challenging, and near always stressful process of college admissions.
The partnership pools the expertise of The ¸£ÀûÉ© Review's world-class college admissions counselors and its admissions counseling services and tools with College Aid Pro's team of college financial aid and scholarship planning and its .
Created to provide clear, strategic information to families with college-bound students, the collaboration is a unique blend of services designed to offer long- and short-term counseling customized to the individual family and student. Whether the student is in middle school or is soon to be leaving high school, families using these services can access resources to maximize the student's prospects for college acceptance and academic success and to help the parents research and plan for college affordability.
Above all, the partnership works to demystify the college application and aid process that some view as an ordeal, but which holds the potential to be one of the most important, rewarding, and definitive family experiences.
"This partnership is a natural evolution of our core mission to help students get into—and succeed at—the colleges best for them," said Robert Batten, CEO of The ¸£ÀûÉ© Review and Tutor.com. "We have guided millions of students and their parents through this process over the past 40 years. Now we are delighted to join with College Aid Pro to expand that guidance to address the increasing worries parents today have about paying for their child's college education. College Aid Pro's expert services help take the guesswork out of college costs and affordability, a concern shared by nearly every family we serve."
Batten noted findings of The ¸£ÀûÉ© Review's 2025 College Hopes & Worries Survey of nearly 10,000 college applicants and their parents. The survey shed compelling light on their perspectives about college: among respondents overall, 73% reported "high" or "very high" levels of stress about their college applications; the "level of debt to pay for the degree" was their biggest worry; and, as concerning, 98% reported that financial aid would be necessary to pay for college, with nearly half of that cohort, 48%, gauging their need for aid as "extreme."
"Choosing a college should be about the best fit, not just the best financial guess," said Kevin Degnan, CEO of College Aid Pro. "By partnering with The ¸£ÀûÉ© Review, we’re bridging the gap between academic success and financial clarity, empowering families to make smarter, more confident decisions. We’re thrilled to bring our mission of price transparency and financial empowerment to The ¸£ÀûÉ© Review’s national community and to all who are committed to supporting students' educational futures."
